gives us a glimpse of men with an unusual hobby. They grow facial hair for pleasure.
The filmmakers met up with the Berlin Beard Club while they were traveling
after attending the World Beard and Mustache Competition in Carson City.

Contact Improvisation is a dance form that is difficult to explain to friends just what
the dance form is. I’ve practiced it since 1994 and began work on the documentary,
Life Spheres, as a way to show friends and family what the dance form is.Some of the
subtler aspects of the form are difficult to show on film - however,because they are
an internal experience felt by the dancer in relation to other dancers.The film covers
elements of the performers’ thoughts about what Contact Improvisation means to them,
along with the process of creation in the making of a performance piece.
